Volfoni Bourges-Saint-Doulchard

I absolutely do not recommend going to this restaurant; the waitresses were unhelpful and they could not speak English. There were ingredients in the food that were not listed on the menu, and the pizzas were not tasty. They were extremely thin and collapsed, so they were barely edible. They were also far too greasy, and the cheese tasted absolutely rancid. There is no vegetarian menu, so the few vegetarian dishes that are available are very difficult to find. As I indicated regarding the price, everything was extremely expensive.

Good food, pleasant service; if you don't want your aperitif and main course served at the same time, please specify. Good value for money.

The restaurant was beautifully decorated, but the carbonara was truly disappointing. I was looking forward to the guanciale carbonara, but it had no flavor whatsoever. My wife chose the "Dolce Vita" platter, which was quite generous, and the truffle pasta was delicious. The dessert of the day was really lovely (frosted lemon).

Ideal for a simple dinner at a reasonable price. The staff is very friendly and attentive. There's a good selection, and the food is very good.

We ordered gnocchi with gorgonzola, a pizza, and a risotto. We ate quite well, and the prices reflect the quality of the food. However, there was a long wait, unfortunately. The chili oil wasn't very spicy, and the waitress didn't offer any Parmesan cheese (the next table was served). In my opinion, this justifies the 3-star rating.

We thought we'd try another restaurant in Bourges, perhaps hoping it was a new one, which would be great. We ordered a two-course meal, nothing exceptional. The snack, however, was very basic. We like things that are quite original and very good, simple. We'd recommend it for a quick fast-food meal, but not for a restaurant. Otherwise, the staff was very friendly. In any case, people are always friendly. Having not appreciated the magic of Italy in Saint-Juste-Valeur, we will not be returning to your restaurant.

The decor is lovely when you walk in; you feel like you're back home, like you're in Italy, with Italian music and a pretty decor. The clientele seems to be already won over. I ordered pasta carbonara with guanciale. I was craving pasta. The pizzas at my neighbors' table looked good, with nice puffed crusts. However, I just had to say that I found the plate of pasta at €14.50 ridiculously small. I wondered if they were playing a joke on me. I didn't dare ask for more pasta... so, since I was still hungry, I ordered calamari fritters for €7.50... they're frozen. All this to say that the plate of thick spaghetti was, in my opinion, ridiculously small. It's just pasta and bacon, charging €14.50 for such a small amount... I'm not sure I'll go back, except maybe to try their pizzas. Otherwise, no complaints about the impeccable service from the staff.

I went to a restaurant. The meal took two hours to arrive. Getting bread was a struggle! The dish: lots of sauce, tough meat, burnt potatoes!
