Le Wake Up / la Burrata

Slow service, only one server on a busy evening during a France match broadcast. A large TV with choppy picture and double the sound system (the sound system and TV were both playing), which was unbearable. Christmas lights were still up in the middle of July, complete with cobwebs. The bar's basic decor was rather unattractive. No urinals. We had to ask for a wedge for our small table. In short, a place that deserves better.

The pizzas are good, however the service is terrible, both in the restaurant and the bar.

The pizzas are excellent, crispy crust, and the filling is generous.

We came to eat with family and friends for a special occasion, and we were disappointed with the service and the welcome we received from the trainee. He barely smiled and spoke in a very informal way! He was a short, blond boy with light eyes, so be warned. Despite this, we enjoyed our meal, thank you to the chefs!

We had a great time, the pizza and food were perfect.

The wake-up call karaoke night was poorly organized. We were passing through Bourges. People the MC knew were given preferential treatment when it came to singing. We had to wait two hours before we could sing. The MC seemed to be enjoying himself by singing alone. However, we applauded some of the performances and the memorable appearance of a group of young women whom we identified as the local basketball players. We suggest using colored slips of paper for each table to ensure everyone takes their turn.

Honestly, I don't understand some of the negative reviews I've read here. This is a pizzeria where you truly feel at home. The welcome is always warm, the servers are lovely, attentive, and take their time with customers. You can feel a real family atmosphere, and that makes all the difference. As for the food, there's nothing to complain about: the ingredients are fresh, the pizzas are always delicious, well-prepared, and never rushed. You can tell the pizza makers pay attention to quality and cooking, which is becoming rare. A huge plus is the free home delivery, which is super convenient and always arrives in perfect condition. The owner is very involved, present, and dedicated, and it shows in both the service and the food. In short, a place I recommend without hesitation. Don't pay attention to some unfair comments; come and see for yourself! 👍
